Skeletal moments is a very nice atmospheric ongoing series about people and their hidden secrets. Also known as skeletons from the closet. The series was created by Spudsfirst, two guys, with a passion for imagery.
While working on his documentary project This Wild Idea, Theron Humphrey started to take very funny photographs of his coon hound Maddie. This ended also as a project and there even came a book.

I’m not there is a series made by Pol Úbeda Hervàs from Barcelona. He made this series because he’s changing at this moment and is wondering if he still recognizes himself. These images reflect the way he’s seeing himself today. The shadow is still there but he erased himself.

This series of very cool cars is called Air Drive, done by Renaud Marion, a french photographer. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a floating car like this to go to work? I hope there will be more cars added to the Air Drive series soon.
Really love this ongoing project of Leonid Tishkov called ‘Private Moon’. Private Moon is a visual poem. A story about a man who found the moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life.
Unardorned is a beautiful series done by Julia Fullerton-Batten. Inspired by paintings of old masters from the 15th to 17th century, Julia has portrayed ‘real’ people. People who do not meet up with the todays western media and advertising standard.
Manufactured landscapes from photographer Edward Burtynsky, is a beautiful and big serie of images of nature transformed mostly by industry. Like mines, ship breaking, silver lakes, railcuts, tire recycling, manufacturing. Jennifer Baichwal has made a documentary about Edward Burtynsky while he was visiting all those landscapes.

Food and restaurant photographer Sonya Yu has made some really funny and beautiful images of her dog Trotter in a great variation of clothing. These images make me smile en remind me of that other great serie with a dressed up dog called Chini.
By letting the seeds grow from the beginning in different vases Diana Scherer forced the flowers to grow their roots in the shape of their vase. After the growing process was finished the vases were removed and the silhouette of all the different shapes remained. Prints or a book with the complete serie are available(…)
